What Ascent Scrim Hub is

VALORANT does not allow self-hosted servers, so Ascent is a community that organises custom lobbies on Riot's official infrastructure. You join the hub, get verified by rank, and sign up for scrim blocks that run every evening in EU and NA windows.

Each block is two full 5v5 maps against a matched opponent team, with a captain draft if you arrive without a five.

What makes it different

• Rank gating that is checked. Diamond and above, verified through a linked Riot account rather than a screenshot. The floor is the whole reason the lobbies are worth playing.
• Scheduled blocks, not a permanent queue. Two EU blocks and two NA blocks per night, published a week ahead. You know when you are playing.
• VOD review slots. A rotating group of coaches take two teams a week and go through a map properly. Free, first come first served.
• Solo signup with captain draft. No five, no problem — the draft runs fifteen minutes before each block.

The rules

1. Show up. Two no-shows in a month costs you signup access for two weeks. Scrims fall apart when a slot goes empty.
2. Smurf accounts are banned outright. Rank verification is on the account you play the block on.
3. No throwing, no griefing, no rage-quitting mid-map. Finish the map, then complain in the debrief channel.
4. Coaching from outside the lobby is only allowed in blocks marked as coached.
5. Toxicity toward your own team is treated exactly like toxicity toward the other one.

How to connect

Everything runs through Discord. Register at scrims.ascenthub.gg, link your Riot account for rank verification, and the signup board opens each day at midday UK time. Lobby codes go out in a private channel ten minutes before your block. You play on Riot's servers as normal — there is nothing to install and no client mods of any kind, which is exactly how it should stay.
