What Blackwater is

Blackwater is a serious roleplay FiveM city. Every player runs one character with a written backstory, and that character carries consequences: injuries put you in hospital, arrests put you in front of a judge, and dying in a robbery you started is not something an admin will undo for you.

The city runs a custom framework on top of QBox with roughly 180 scripts — banking, property ownership, a court system, a functioning EMS pipeline from scene to surgery, and a business system where players own the mechanic shops and the nightclub.

What makes it different

• A whitelist interview, not a form. Applications include a written scenario and a voice interview. Around a third get through, and that filter is the product.
• Departments run shifts. Police and EMS have rosters, published shift times and a training pipeline. You do not spawn in as a detective on day one.
• Economy with a ceiling. Money sinks are aggressive on purpose — insurance, repairs, fines, rent. Nobody is driving a supercar in week one.
• In-character consequences first. Most incidents are resolved through the courts in-game before staff ever get involved.

The rules

1. No RDM or VDM. Every hostile interaction needs roleplay before it.
2. Value your life. Three guns pointed at you means you comply, not that you third-person peek and spray.
3. No metagaming. Anything your character did not see or hear does not exist. Stream sniping is a permanent removal.
4. No combat logging. Disconnecting during an active scene is treated as the worst version of what was about to happen.
5. New life rule. If your character dies, they do not remember the twenty minutes leading up to it.

How to connect

You need a legitimate copy of GTA V and the FiveM client. Apply through the Discord, and once you are whitelisted the direct connect address is cfx.re/join/8bxqvr — paste it into the FiveM launcher or into your browser with FiveM installed. First join downloads roughly 4 GB of assets, so start it before you plan to play, not while your friends are waiting.
